Choose cleanup or conversion deliberately

Text Compare helps review what changed between two blocks of prose. Case Converter changes capitalization. Whitespace Cleaner normalizes spaces and line endings. Word Counter gives a quick view of length using the counting rules explained on its page.

Text Cleanup removes selected boilerplate phrases and invisible characters. It cannot prove authorship, remove all AI watermarks, or guarantee a result from an AI detector. Review edits yourself: a phrase that looks repetitive may still be meaningful in your document.

Encoding does not make information private

URL encoding and Base64 are representations of data, not confidentiality features. A Base64 string can be decoded by anyone with the tool. Do not use it to hide passwords or personal information.

Choose a URL encoder when you need to encode a value for a URL component. Encoding an entire address as one component can change separators that have special meaning. Read the tool’s example and match the operation to your receiving system.

A small editing checklist

  1. Save the original draft or string.
  2. Choose one operation and review its result before combining several transformations.
  3. Check names, acronyms, spacing in code, and intentional line breaks.
  4. For a technical string, test it in the system that will consume it.

Counts and cleanup rules are practical approximations. A punctuation-based sentence count is not a linguistic analysis, and a visual match may hide different Unicode characters. If a result looks wrong, send a small non-sensitive example through Help & feedback.
