URL Query Inspector
Parse URL query strings into editable name-value pairs and rebuild them. Preserve duplicate keys, blank values, Unicode text, and parameter order.
Inspect and rebuild query parameters
- Paste an HTTP/HTTPS URL or a query such as
?tag=tools&tag=web. - Select Parse query. The result is a JSON array of name-value pairs.
- To edit parameters, paste those pairs back into the input and change their values.
- Select Build query from JSON and copy the resulting query string.
[["tag", "tools"], ["tag", "web"], ["q", "hello world"]]This example becomes ?tag=tools&tag=web&q=hello+world. Repeated names remain separate entries, in the same order. Every name and value in the JSON input must be a string, including numeric-looking values.
Encoding details
A plus sign in an input query means a space. Use %2B for a literal plus. Percent-encoded UTF-8 characters are decoded; malformed encodings are rejected. The builder uses standard URL form encoding, so spaces become plus signs and special characters are escaped.
Fragments after # are not query parameters. An empty query produces an empty array. A name without = is treated as an empty value and rebuilds with an equals sign. Empty separators are ignored. The tool builds only the query component; it never opens, fetches, or tests the URL.
